Sean O'Malley reveals Reebok royalties, Reebok responds -- what's next for UFC uniform deal? 1

Sean O’Malley recent revealed that he was paid just $3,000 after Reebok sold over $1 million of his merchandise.

Speaking with Brendan Schaub, O’Malley said: “I got royalties from Reebok. If I read it right — which I think I did, and I even sent it to my dad and I’m like, ‘Did I read this right?’ and he said yes, so unless we both can’t read — Reebok made over a million dollars on all my merch. I got like $3,000. I’m like, ‘What the f–k.”

Reebok soon responded, saying: “Royalties paid out on sales of co-branded UFC and Reebok merchandise are dictated by the contract between the individual fighter and the UFC.”

In this video, Ant Walker and Patrick Auger discuss this news and also dive into the details of the Reebok x UFC uniform deal that is likely to expire this year. Patrick speaks about the possibility of Nike partnering with the UFC but states that the most likely outfitter is Under Armour.
