Holly Holm looked outstanding against Irene Aldana on the weekend as she cruised to a comfortable unanimous decision victory.
Today, Patrick Auger, Drake Riggs, and Matthew Wells discuss Holm’s win and whether she deserves another title shot.
Wells starts by saying that we’re likely to see Holm get another title shot. What works in her favor, he argues, is that she can claim that she got caught by Amanda Nunes in the first fight.
By saying that she messed up that it’ll be different this time, it’ll at least create some interest. Riggs was impressed by Holm and has now warmed up to her getting another title shot, but he doesn’t believe she should get one right now. Instead, Riggs wants to see her fight Germaine de Randamie next.
