Dana White has today confirmed that Khabib Nurmagomedov is still the lightweight champion of the UFC and believes that Nurmagomedov will return for one more fight.
Speaking to Brett Okamoto of
“He was super emotional after that fight. He got the measles, mumps, and then he broke his toe leading into that fight. He took the fight after the passing of the father, I think he was super emotional that night. I’m not saying he’s going to 100 percent come out for 30 but I got the feeling that he will.”
“He’s the lightweight champion right now.”
