The greatest heavyweight fighter in UFC history is set to defend his title this weekend against one of the most dangerous contenders on the promotion’s roster. Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will fend off Francis Ngannou for the second time when the pair clash at UFC 260 this Saturday, March 27.
The UFC is labeling this bout as the “biggest, baddest rematch” in UFC history, and they’re probably not wrong.
Miocic survived the dangerous opening minutes of their first bout back at UFC 220 before proceeding to control Ngannou for over 15 minutes of the 25-minute bout on January 20, 2018. Ngannou says he wasn’t prepared for the challenge that was Miocic — the same man that stands in the way of Ngannou becoming heavyweight champion again this weekend.
