UFC 246 PPV price increased for Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone

The price of UFC pay-per-view events has returned to $64.99, increasing from the $59.99 price that was introduced with the shift to the ESPN+ digital streaming platform last year.

In March 2019, the UFC’s partnership with ESPN took an unforeseen twist. The promotion moved on from the days of traditional PPV broadcasting and instead opted to livestream all UFC PPV events on ESPN‘s digital streaming network, ESPN+.Advertisement To appease those affected by technology shock and to offset the cost of the required ESPN+ membership, it was announced that the UFC PPV price would be reduced to $59.99. The PPV price together with the monthly ESPN+ membership ($4.99) would total the traditional PPV price of $64.99.

Starting with UFC 246, when Conor McGregor meets Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the welterweight main event on Saturday, January 18, the UFC PPV price will return to $64.99.

In a statement released to Variety, an ESPN representative noted: “This price change represents a return to the price that UFC fans traditionally paid, prior to ESPN+ decreasing the PPV price for most of 2019.” The monthly base price of ESPN+ remains at $4.99 in 2020 and the annual package will remain unchanged at $49.99.

Once ordered, UFC 246 and all upcoming UFC Fight Night events can be streamed via the web or the ESPN App or connected devices. Fights can be streamed (or watched later) on devices and platforms including Amazon Fire, Apple, Android, Chromecast, PS4, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, Xbox One and more.

UFC 246 takes place on Saturday, January 18, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, and is headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Here’s how the full UFC 246 fight card stands:
