Kelleher (19-10) scored a big win against Renan Barao in February 2018 but then dropped consecutive fights to John Lineker and Montel Jackson later in 2018. He hasn’t competed since.

Osbourne (8-2) looked great on Dana White’s Contender Series last July, defeating Armando Villarreal by armbar in the first round. He’ll be making his UFC debut at UFC 246 today.

Brian Kelleher vs. Ode Osbourne play-by-play

Round one

Ode Osbourne opens up with a high kick. Kelleher blocks. Ode now throwing straight punches. Kelleher circling around and then comes forward for a single-leg takedown. Finishes the takedown and then wraps up the legs of Osbourne.

Stuck in full guard now and buries his head into the chin of Osbourne. Osbourne with some elbows from the bottom and now slides his hips out for an armbar attempt but there is nothing there. Kelleher staying tight in full guard. Osbourne doing the better work here from the bottom.

Kelleher now passes to half guard and then rises to attempt a guillotine as Osbourne stands. He has the guillotine wrapped up and then secures his legs in full guard to finish the submission.

A superb finish from Kelleher and he picks up a major victory at UFC 246.
