Round one
Ferreira pumps out a double jab and Taisumov slips outside. Ferreira pushing forward, Taisumov moving laterally near the cage. Hasn’t had much room to work. Hard leg kick to the outside from Taisumov lands. Taisumov steps in and lands a big right uppercut. Leg kick makes Ferreira fall to the mat. Right high kick by Taisumov blocked by Ferreira. Ferreira steps in with a big right hand. Taisumov clips Ferreira with a right hand. Ferreira recovers fast. A huge right uppercut from Taisumov misses. Ferreira now moving forward and trying to trap Taisumov again. Taisumov’s lateral movement has been outstanding this fight. He’s now circled to the center. Double jab by Ferreira. Again, but this time mixes in a right hand behind the opening jabs. Right outside leg kick and then Taisumov and Ferreira exchange at close range.

Round two
Ferreira marching forward again behind his jab. Taisumov trying to evade the forward movement. Both guys are swinging wild punches. Ferreira comes forward and pushes Taisumov back to the cage, Taisumov surprises with a judo throw but Ferreira bounces back to his feet. Ferreira gets called for a headbutt and Herb Dean stops the action to give him a warning.
Ferreira lead left hook, right hand. Pressure and pace are key for Ferreira right now. Taisumov on the back foot, but rips a hard body shot and right hand to the head after Ferreira comes in.
Every time Taisumov leads with a jab, Ferreira slips and comes back with several heavy punches. Ferreira hammering hooks around the guard of Taisumov now. Taisumov doing a good job of defending most incoming strikes, but in defensive mode right now. Scramble and Ferreira pursues a single-leg. Taisumov escapes, they reset, and now Ferreira pushing the pace again. Big right hand connects for Ferreira. Taisumov misses when he comes in with strikes. Great round.

Round three
Ferreira already all over Taisumov to start round three. Jabs, straight right hands, hooks; Ferreira throwing everything to start round three. Ferreira shoots and Taisumov sprawls well, defends and returns to his feet. Taisumov lands a heavy 1-2 and finally stops Ferreira’s forward movement just for a second. Taisumov still circling and trying to jab and keep Ferreira away. Ferreira crushes him with a big right hand. Fakes a level change and then comes back with some punches to push Taisumov back to the cage. Unbelievable pace from Ferreira.
Taisumov hasn’t been able to handle it. Spinning back kick to the stomach connects. Ferreira jab and looping right hand around the guard. Taisumov slowing down to a halt and Ferreira still coming forward like he can fight for another two rounds. Right hand connects and Taisumov’s face is bloodied now. Ferreira keeps it on until the final bell. The extreme pace set by Ferreira was enough to win rounds two and three.

Joanne Calderwood vs. Andrea Lee
Round one
Kicks are exchanged immediately. Lee going to the legs of Calderwood. Lee’s tagged with some heavy punches as she comes forward. Calderwood also going to the legs with kicks. Lee now going to the body with punches. Kicks to the legs are adding up for each fighter. Again Lee comes forward and rips the body with a couple of punches again. Body kick from Calderwood. Another body punch from Lee. Calderwood catches a kick and takes Lee down. Lee returns to her feet. She dives down and then passes through to side control. Easily sliced past Calderwood’s guard. Hard elbows from the top. Great ground and pound to finish the round for Lee.

Round two
Calderwood body kick, Lee wraps her in the clinch and then pushes her back to the cage. Lee comes forward and grabs the single-leg. Follows through, drives, and lands in side control again. Passes one leg over and now has a leg trap/leg mount. Calderwood shows her back and Lee has turtle control now. Lee hammers the ribs of Calderwood with a knee. Calderwood stands but then Lee maintains the clinch. Both fighters seem to be slowing now due to the heat in the arena. Calderwood pushing forward now. Lee stepping back closer to the cage and allows Calderwood to shoot in.

Round three
Calderwood advancing, working the legs and jabbing. Lee standing outside the black tape, taking deep breaths. Lee stiff straight punches. Shoots in for a takedown now and gets a double leg. Pushes Calderwood back to the cage. No impact. Chases Calderwood back to the cage now and tries taking the back. Calderwood now has the clinch and Lee connects with some knees to the stomach.

Zubaira Tukhugov vs. Lerone Murphy
Round one
Lerone Murphy comes out and lands a heavy leg kick that turns Zubaira. Zubaira drops Murphy with a punch and puts the pressure on. Follows up with plenty of strikes. Can’t get the finish, though. Murphy stays strong. Zubaira takes top control now and slides into top mount against the cage. Picks Murphy up and takes him to the center, away from the cage. Has a tight grip around the waist of Murphy and keeping him pinned to the mat. Postures up and stacks now. Back to the waist now and pushing him back to the cage. Tough performance by Zubaira Tukhogov in the first round. Won the stand-up and controlled the grappling.

Round two
Murphy right hand falls short and Tukhogov counters. Tukhogov keeps at a safe distance and moving laterally. Murphy in the center and starting to work now. Tukhogov misses with a punch and Murphy slips and rips the body. Lands to the head. Tukhogov shoots. Grip at the waist and pushes to the cage. Guillotine from Murphy is tight but Tukhogov escapes. Murphy stands. Another guillotine from Murphy and it looks good again, but Tukhogov scrambles to escape.
Tukhogov going after the single-leg now and pushing to the cage but Murphy defends well. Murphy advancing and puts pressure on. Now Murphy pushing to the cage. Murphy starting to unload now. Zubaira takedown now to finish the round.

Round three
Round starts with a Murphy side kick to the stomach. Murphy left-hand lands. Zubaira shoots now and Murphy stuffs. Great defense by posting on the head. Murphy comes forward, Zubaira looks tired. Zubaira shoots again. He’s pushing him against the cage now but Murphy defends well. He escapes from the cage and still looks fresh in round three.
Murphy attempts a kick but his kick is caught and now Zubaira takes him down to the ground. He lands in side control. He has Murphy trapped on the mat and starts controlling him from turtle.

Liana Jojua vs. Sarah Moras
Round one
Moras and Jojua start brawling. Exchanging heavy hooks. Moras coming forward now and trying to turn this into a slugfest. Jojua sticking to the outside and waiting for her chance to counter. She gets rocked by a solid punch by Moras. Jojua with a perfect right-hand counter. Moras works Jojua back to the cage and pushing her back with double underhooks. Referee stoppage and then Moras starts brawling again.

Round two
Moras storms out again to start round two. She’s walking Jojua down and works her back to the cage again after some leg kicks. Moras pushes forward and gains decent control. Head pressure and strong clinch control, before then dropping down and pulling guard. She’s got Jojua locked into full guard and working from the bottom. She’s attacking submissions now and goes after an arm. Jojua sits up and doesn’t show any urgency to return to her feet or pass guard. Moras turns her over and is now on top in full guard. Moras continues to work ground and pound to finish the round.

Round three
Doesn’t take long for Moras to take full guard again and start working from the bottom. Attempts a triangle choke but Jojua escapes. They stand and Moras follows Jojua, she cruises into full mount and starts hammering down vicious elbows from the top. Huge ground and pound. The biggest shots of the fight so far. Jojua turns and gives up her back, but Moras keeps with the ground and pound. A relentless barrage of ground and pound ends the fight for Moras.

Ottman Azaitar vs. Teemu Packalen
Round one
Azaitar throwing bombs early. Sticking to the outside, connecting with leg kicks now. Packalen comes in and gets the clinch but Azaitar is setting an insane pace. He lands three or four unanswered strikes in the clinch. They separate and he keeps the pressure on. Crazy pace and pressure from Azaitar early. Azaitar connects with a right hand. Does it again and this time Packalen just drops flat on his face. That’s the fight.
Replay shows a looping right hand that connects just behind the right ear. Packalen’s lights turn off and he falls forward. Brutal knockout.

Belal Muhammad vs. Takashi Sato
Round one
Sato working behind the jab. Muhammad moving in and out, struggling to find his ideal boxing range right now. Swings a right hand and misses. Muhammad oblique kick. Muhammad right punch to the body and left hook lands to the head. Sato landing the jab. Muhammad drops him with a punch and then follows through to secure a body lock. Belal lifts and tries to slam Sato but Sato recovers.
After some exchanges, Muhammad comes forward and clinches. Can’t get the takedown. They separate now and Belal shoots in for a double leg. Slam and takes the back. Muhammad locks a body triangle and starts slamming elbows into the side of Sato’s head.

Round two
Muhammad pushing the pace now to start round two. Sato’s jab has been working well all fight. Muhammad trying to keep up the pressure shoots a single leg and drags Sato to the mat. No impact there as Sato gets up to his feet. Another takedown attempt from Muhammad. He shoots in and closes the distance. Sato pushes off. Muhammad lands a solid right hand. Sato connects with a smooth cross. Muhammad lands a combination of punches. Sato surprises with a big takedown. Lands in side control. Knees to the body of Muhammad.

Round three
Muhammad comes in with a three-four punch combination to start the round. He’s lifting the pace now. Muhammad body lock and holds Sato, not much success keeping control of Sato in this fight. Another takedown and he has the back of Sato again. Straight to the body triangle and wraps his left arm under the chin of Sato to finish the rear-naked choke.

Nordine Taleb vs. Muslim Salikhov
Round one
Taleb lots of lateral movement. Leg kick from Salikhov. A hard body kick from Taleb. Spinning back kick from Salkikhov. A low kick to the groin from Taleb causes a pause in the action. Both fighters trade hooks following the restart. Jab from Taleb and he scoots back just in time to avoid the counter. Salikhov trying to close the distance, lots of pressure now. Stopped by a hard leg kick. Taleb goes high with a left kick. Salikhov comes forward and crushes Taleb with a right hand. Taleb goes stiff and falls back. Herb Dean steps in and stops the fight before Salikhov can even land some ground and pound.

Omari Akhmedov vs. Zak Cummings
Round one
A low blow from Cummings causes a quick stoppage early in the fight. Hard inside leg kick from Akhmedov. A hard body kick almost caught by Akhmedov. Both guys start swinging but nothing lands. Cummings comes forward and cracks Akhmedov and drops him. Attempts to come forward and land more but a fast recovery from Akhmedov.
Akhmedov comes forward and slams Cummings on his back. He’s in half guard now. Cummings with double underhooks from the bottom. Gives them up as Akhmedov postures up. No damage from the top yet from Akhmedov. Cummings doing well to hold him safely in full guard. Akhmedov postures up and loads up a punch but Cummings slides out just in time.

Round two
Akhmedov loads up a big right hand and misses. Patient start from both guys. Cummings controlling the center so far in this round. Akhmedov and Cummings have both been throwing bombs in this round but the most significant strikes aren’t landing cleanly. Body kick from Akhmedov.
Huge spinning backfist from Akhmedov misses and Cummings comes back with some hard strikes. Akhmedov pushing Cummings back to the cage now. Cummings guillotine attempt while standing. Has his back against the cage and drops down. Akhmedov lands in half guard.

Round three
Cummings controlling the center. Comes forward and misses with some punches. Akhmedov attempts to counter, but misses, as well. Another slow start to round three. Akhmedov forward burst but Cummings shoves him off. Akhmedov inside leg kick. Both guys just standing in front of each other, staring, right now. Another inside leg kick from Akhmedov. Clinching now in the center and trading knees. Cummings storms forward, Akhmedov turns and shoots for a double. Lands in half guard. Cummings again goes for double unders from the bottom. Akhmedov trying to posture up. That’s the end of the round.

Don Madge vs. Fares Ziam
Round one
Madge closes the distance and starts with some leg kicks. Pushes Ziam to the cage and gains underhooks. Attempts to drag Ziam to the mat but fails. Now pushing against the cage, again. Ziam switches position now. Madge switches back. Not much happening in the clinch, it’s just a battle for position. Some knees from Madge now. Ziam looks strong; he turns Madge and starts hammering the thigh with knees. Madge now switches and level changes. Fails another takedown but Ziam is still backed to the cage.
The referee breaks them from the clinch with 1:40 left in the round. Madge comes forward with hooks. He does it again. Seems like he doesn’t want to work behind a jab, just resorting to wild hooks to close the distance. Ziam now backing Madge to the cage and pushing him. A hard round to score so far as neither fighter has really landed with major impact, but seems to be in Madge’s favor just due to effort. Unofficial stats show that Madge failed on all five takedown attempts in the round. Competitive fight, but not an exciting one.

Round two
Madge starts by pushing Ziam to the cage, again. The opening 40 seconds already resemble the first round. Just a clinch war against the cage. They separate. Madge leg kick countered by Ziam straight punches. Madge closes the distance and has Ziam backed to the cage. Halfway through the round and there’s been no real impact.
Ziam lands some solid punches as Madge comes forward, but Madge ties him up immediately against the cage. We’d estimate that 80 percent of this fight, so far, has been fought from the clinch. The referee separates with 1:00 to go.
Leg kicks are traded and now back to the clinch. It’s Ziam pushing Madge this time. Switch. Madge finally gets his takedown. Successful double-leg puts Ziam on his back and then Madge stacks guard before falling into full guard.
Another round for Madge. Not exciting in any way, but doing enough to stop Ziam from being able to work.

Round three
Touch gloves. And, guess what? It’s back to the clinch. Madge pushes Ziam forward to the cage. Ziam turns him. Madge drives and tries to switch to the back of Ziam, but Ziam keeps him in front. Double underhooks for Madge as he pounds the inside of the leg with knees. Shoots for a single leg, Ziam counters with a kimura and then Madge pops his head back up.
Madge almost has a takedown. Locks up the left leg of Ziam but he returns to his feet. This fight feels like wrestling/clinch sparring in the gym and not something we’d actually see in the UFC. Both fighters have been fighting for position. It’s Madge controlling the majority of the action through all three rounds. Not a ton of strikes but the goal here is to obviously disallow Ziam from working in open space.
Another double leg for Madge with 70 seconds remaining. He’s in Ziam’s full guard. Ziam trying to attack the arms and switch his hips but Madge is aware of the danger and decides to drop down and stay heavy. Ground and pound from Madge and then passes into half guard. Full mount but Ziam bumps and creates space. That’s the end of the fight.
