Updated UFC Vegas 12 betting odds for Uriah Hall vs. Anderson Silva 1

Uriah Hall remains a betting favorite over Anderson Silva.

Hall battles Silva in a middleweight bout that headlines UFC Vegas 12 this Saturday at the Apex facility in Las Vegas.

It’s a particularly big occasion as it will be the last mixed martial arts fight of Silva’s career as he revealed he would call it a day after this fight.

Leaving the sport with a spectacular win doesn’t seem likely according to oddsmakers, though, as Silva remains a betting underdog.

When the fight was originally announced, Hall opened as a -180 betting favorite while “The Spider” was a +155 underdog. And with just a few days to go for UFC Vegas 12, oddsmakers have Hall ranging from a -222 to -250 favorite while Silva ranges from +175 to +196.

That means you would have to bet $222 to win $100 on Hall while a $100 stake on Silva would earn you a profit of as much as $196.

All in all, this is not surprising. Although Silva is still hard to finish in his forties, he has still lost six of his last eight outings and has clearly lost a big step over the years.

Hall, meanwhile, is having a mini career resurgence as he is currently on a two-fight winning streak — his first since 2015 — as well as a winner in three of his last four overall.

Here are the opening odds for the pair’s last five fights:

Uriah Hall last five fights

  • vs. Antonio Carlos Junior (W): +155
  • vs. Bevon Lewis (W): +105
  • vs. Paulo Costa (L): +210
  • vs. Krzysztof Jotko (W): +170
  • vs. Gegard Mousasi (L): +375

Anderson Silva last five fights

  • vs. Jared Cannonier (L): +190
  • vs. Israel Adesanya (L): +280
  • vs. Derek Brunson (W): -110
  • vs. Daniel Cormier (L): +400
  • vs. Michael Bisping (L): -290
