The challenger in Singapore this weekend is Jiri Prochazka, a talented light heavyweight fighter who has been impressive with two devastating knockout wins so far in the UFC. The former RIZIN light heavyweight champion has earned his UFC title shot after just those two fights in the promotion.

Teixeira vs. Prochazka isn’t the only title fight taking place this weekend. Valentina Shevchenko will defend her UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship when she meets fast-rising Taila Santos in the co-main event. That bout is scheduled for five rounds, as well.
The UFC 275 PPV event will also feature another important matchup as former titleholders Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk run back their incredible fight from 2020.
