The UFC’s relationship with ESPN has been one of the biggest talking points for UFC fans this year.

In March, UFC president Dana White announced that the promotion would be tied up with ESPN for a total of seven years, two years longer than initially expected. The promotion had already begun streaming all of their UFC Fight Night events on the ESPN+ digital streaming service in January while also airing other major cards on ESPN.

The most stunning of announcements made this year by the promotion, however, was the drastic change to the way that consumers order and watch UFC PPV events. The days of traditional distribution are now over as White declared that all UFC PPV events would stream on ESPN+ only.

New UFC PPV Price

For fans to now watch UFC PPV events in 2019, they are required to have an ESPN+ subscription that costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 for an annual subscription.

To account for the new subscription cost, the UFC decreased the price of UFC PPV events from $64.99 to $59.99.

Fans can participate in a special ESPN+ UFC 241 promotion that lets you get the UFC 241 PPV and one year of ESPN+ for just $79.98.

MMA fans will be particularly interested in all of the UFC Fight Night events, Dana White’s Contender Series, Professional Fighter’s League, and plenty more original UFC content.

But one of the greatest selling points of ESPN+ in 2019 is that it gives users access to those big-time UFC PPV events such as UFC 241: Cormier vs. Miocic, UFC 242: Nurmagomedov vs. Poirier, and more.
