Donald Cerrone and his son

Eagle-eyed UFC fans may have spotted that Donald Cerrone was walking with a limp during Episode 2 of UFC 246 Embedded.

The opening scenes of the video followed Cerrone as he limped through Fremont Street in Las Vegas. It was an alarming sight, especially considering that we’re now just three days out from “Cowboy” facing Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 246 this Saturday.

However, speaking to media on Tuesday, “Cowboy” assured fans that there’s nothing to worry about.

“Man, I knew that was going to come up,” Cerrone said to media members including Aaron Bronsteter. “A little limp… What if I just walk with a drawl. Or maybe I stepped on a Lego? I’ve got a kid now.”

“Nah, I’m good. I’m fine. I just kicked the pad funny. It was just a funny nothing, yeah nothing.”

Considering the significance of his upcoming main event bout against Conor McGregor, it will likely take a lot more than a limp leg to stop Cerrone from stepping into the Octagon on Saturday night.

Regardless, fans will surely keep a close eye on Cerrone in the upcoming episodes of UFC Embedded to monitor the recovery of what appears to be a minor injury.
