The UFC's new Apex facility ready to host a Dana White's Contender Series bout

The fourth week of Dana White’s Contender Series is set to take place on Tuesday, July 16, at the UFC’s new Apex facility in Las Vegas.

The series returns just one week after White and the matchmakers handed out a record-breaking five contracts to all winners. Jonathan Pearce, Maki Pitolo, Joseph Solecki, Antonio Tricoli, and Hunter Azure all earned entry to the UFC after scoring big wins last Tuesday.

Dana White’s Contender Series streams live on ESPN+ in the United States and on UFC Fight Pass elsewhere around the world. The fight card is expected to commence at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.

If you’ve watched Dana White’s Contender Series before, you know the drill. A win is great, but winning by way of knockout or submission greatly boosts a fighter’s chances of winning a UFC contract.

Fighters are encouraged to finish their opponents and not merely win on the scorecards. This often results in an entertaining, high-stakes five-fight card.
