Amanda Nunes will defend the women’s bantamweight title against Julianna Pena at UFC 265 at an undisclosed location early in August.
Nunes hasn’t lost since 2014 and has cemented her legacy as the greatest female mixed martial artist in UFC history after 12 consecutive wins.
The UFC is running out of able challengers at 135 pounds and has needed to look down to #6 Pena for this UFC 265 title fight. Pena is 2-2 in her last four fights and is most recently coming off a third-round rear-naked choke win against Sara McMann in January.
