RIZIN 27 takes place on Sunday, March 21, at the Nippon Gaishi Hall, in Nagoya, Japan, and will feature a RIZIN Super Atomweight Championship bout as the main event.

Ayaka Hamasaki will face off against Kanna Asakura in the headline bout. Hamasaki steps back into the ring after her brilliant unique leg-scissors choke submission victory against Miyuu Yamamoto on New Year’s Eve. At RIZIN 27, Asakura gets a chance to avenge her earlier loss to Hamasaki from 2018. Since then, she’s won five of her last six bouts with the lone defeat coming against Miyuu Yamamoto in 2019.
