ONE Championship remove Japan from 2018 schedule, make 5 other changes
ONE Championship will no longer be hosting an event in Tokyo, Japan, in September 2018.
The organization has made multiple changes to their original 2018 schedule, including the removal of a debut event in Tokyo, Japan, the inclusion of an additional event in Yangon, Myanmar, and a reshuffling of locations and dates in the latter part of the year.
The card in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that was originally scheduled for June 8 has been moved to July 13.
Making up for the lost event in Toyko, Japan, ONE Championship has scheduled another event in Yangon, Myanmar, on September 1.
The four events through November and early December have all been changed.
The last Singapore event of the year will now take place on November 9 and not on November 23. Jakarta, Indonesia, will host an event on November 17 before the organization travels to Manila, Philippines, one week later on November 23. The December 8 card will now also be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As detailed on the ONE Championship website, the current 2018 schedule is as follows:

Sorry to hear that Japan will not be included, as it is home to so many good fighters. Was any reason given for dropping it? Hope it and Hawaii can be included next year. I see that they plan to be in Korea in July. Would love to see them book a fight between Seo Hee Ham and Angela Lee there.
Hi Juchi,
There has been no information released regarding the change to the schedule, which is unfortunate.
It will be interesting to see if the planned event in Korea eventuates.
