Bozhena Antoniyar defeats Shwe Sin, breaks atomweight record for fastest finish

Bozhena Antoniyar set a ONE Championship record for fastest finish in the atomweight division when she defeated Shwe Sin at ONE: Quest for Gold.

Antoniyar managed a lightning-fast victory in Yangon, Myanmar, when she forced a referee stoppage due to strikes just 24 seconds into the first round.

The contest began with Antoniyar securing a takedown with ease. After landing in half guard, Antoniyar began throwing down some heavy punches. The strikes from above forced Shwe Sin to turn away from the potential impact and it allowed Antoniyar to slide through into full mount.

From this moment, fighter safety became a priority and the contest was quickly called to an end.

Bozhena Antoniyar proved successful in her professional mixed martial arts debut and moved to 1-0. The 24-second defeat resulted in Shwe Sin moving to 0-1 after an uninspiring debut performance.
